Wonki Ware was founded by Di Marshall over 20 years ago in George, a small town along South Africa’s Garden Route. What began as a small studio has grown into a globally recognised brand known for its commitment to craftsmanship and community.

Because every piece of Wonki Ware is hand crafted from start to finish, no two pieces will ever be identical. Therefore all sizes shown are approximate. Over fifteen different individuals are involved in the manufacture of every single piece of Wonki Ware. Unlike items of mass production, handmade pottery will always vary slightly in size and shape.
